Places to Go to Enjoy your Dorset Holidays

One of the best places to go in South West England is the county of Dorset. But your holiday will be even better if you book yourself at the Dorset holiday cottages.  The holiday cottages are comfortable, spacious and clean so you need not worry about accommodations. They are pet-friendly and self-catering too so you can always cook your meals anytime you want. Major tourist attractions are within close proximity of the holiday cottages so travelling to and from them will not be a problem. Here are some places that you must include in your Dorset holidays itinerary.

The Tank Museum

The Tank Museum is one of Bovington's popular tourist attractions that you must not miss out during your Dorset holidays. If you are staying in one of the Dorset holiday cottages, it is best to leave a little earlier since Bovington is several minutes away and you would want to spend more time to check out the museum.  Those who are interested in war including kids would most possibly enjoy seeing the trenches of World War I. This interactive museum has special explosive displays that make you feel as if you are in the middle of a great battle. The Tank Museum should be one of the places you and your family should explore during your Dorset holidays.

Rendezvous

Staying at the holiday cottages will guarantee that you get a good night's rest after a hectic day of sightseeing during your Dorset holidays.  But before retiring for the night, why not relax and unwind at one of the best night spots in Dorset called Rendezvous. It is near the holiday cottages so you would not have to think about having to travel far or late in the night. Every night there are scheduled events at the Rendezvous and this is what brings in the crowds of local and visitors alike. Choose from a wide array of delectable food from their extensive menu and drinks from the well stocked bar. The place is big but clean and comfortable so it can accommodate a lot of visitors. The first floor can accommodate as many as 200 guests as it extends out to an outside area.  There is a large bar on the first floor to serve the visitors.  The ground floor can accommodate up to 350 guests as it has a very spacious interior with its own bar and toilet.

If you enjoy dancing, Rendezvous is the place to go to as it has a great dance floor. They can also accommodate private parties if you want some privacy to celebrate with your friends and family.  Be sure to call up the bar in advance from your holiday cottages so you can reserve a private room for your celebrations. Your Dorset holidays should not only be a round of sightseeing activities but should also include an enjoyable visit to this hottest night club in Dorset.
