Has found in 2006 with theme "Responsible Travel & Sharing", Asiana Travel Mate always tries the best to support the local community by sharing the company profit to preserve the environment, health care or improving the quality of local life.
From 2007, we were launching a Scholarship yearly, which is a part of "Cyclo Community Outreach". The program was initiated to address the livelihood issues of cyclos, provide scholarships to children of poor cyclo riders, promote the cyclo as an environment friendly way to tour Hue City, organize, orientate and support a core cyclo team.
As usual, in 10/09/2011 Andy Nguyen, Director of Asiana Travel Mate and team were awarding scholarship to the pupils, who reach the program criteria as a good school performance, children of poor family in Community Cyclo Team in Hue.
All pedicab families are living in narrow circumstances, but they all try the best to let their children to school. Because they know that, it is the best way to beyond their poorness in the future. This scholarship is a significant activity of ATM not only for the pupils, who received the scholarships, but also their fathers. That encourages and motivates them more enthusiastically and responsibly in working.
From the cyclo team with 10 members, ATM will be extending the team to 30 riders. It presents the company effort in helping local community and improving their livelihood. Moreover, Building the team in organizing will help cyclo riders become more polite and friendly with their guest. That creates a professional working environment with attractive destination for tourist, who love traveling to Hue.
