If you decide to visit Albania you should by all means visit the capital of the country, Tirana. Tirana, besides being the largest city in Albania, is also the centre of the political, economical, and cultural life of the country.Tirana is a really beautiful city with many interesting sights and beautiful landmarks. You should start your visit in Tirana from the Skanderbeg Square (Sheshi Skënderbej), the centre of the city. There stands the statue of Skanderbeg, the national hero of Albania.
