You should come to the Centre in proper attire that is suitable for horse riding such as leggings or trousers and low-heeled, smooth soled shoes. The Centre will provide the hat and other body protection gear while you are taking your horse riding lessons. You can choose from many different types and sizes of horses and ponies. The fee for the horse riding lessons is £29 for one and a half hours. If you are coming as a group, it is best to call the centre ahead and make prior arrangements.
Paddle Boarding at Active-8
If you still want to do some more activities after a short stint at horse riding, you can try out the paddle boarding. The Paddle Boarding Centre is about one hour away from the horse riding centre but is easily accessible from your Cornwall holiday cottages. If you have never tried paddle boarding before, you can try out now and make this one more adventure that you will remember your Cornwall holidays by. Paddle boarding will be done at Harlyn and starts at 1:30 p.m. but if the conditions are not so great at this beach, it might be moved to another beach.
