NATURE IS PART OF US
I have just found it
clear to me that we ourselves are part of nature and no matter what we do, it is
still up to our responsibility to conserve it as in the process we are helping
our own selves. You might oppose this whole thing but let me light you more on
this.
Do you agree with me that the times we are cutting down
trees we are cutting down ourselves? An example is bududa in eastern Uganda,
the land slides just killed many 2 years back and surely who can travel to this
wonderful mountain for mountaineering? Are we not just limiting on our own
income? Look, the only way to save us all this mess, is by planting trees and
saving the few remaining with us.
Think of it, if you were to grade away the bwindi
impenetrable forest in the western part of Uganda, don't you think that gorilla
trekking would be impossible. If only evading the forest in large numbers can
be a threat to them, how about a big bung of a tree fall? Definitely believe
that without these trees my life would be a stale. They help us in the oxygen
cycle.
What do we gain when we pollute the water with materials we
consider to be of no effect, yes the effect might not be immediate but the
results are completely deadly. Remember we drink this water and because it has
a component of oxygen it is very important in our lives as it is stated that
water is life, it is practically proven! Why do you then go ahead to bring in plants,
fish species which are not native to a respective water body. You even go ahead
to pour un treated sewage in this clean water to help in claiming the lives of
the many. The air that is our life footer is amazingly polluted giving a reason
of just development, yes I don't oppose development plans but the question is,
have you well planned of the place to locate the industries. Let's work hand in
hand with nature to improve on both our lives and the flourishing beauty of
these natural features.yes together we can especially us nature lovers in uganda.
a student interested in traveling.
