HE NAMED IT MURCHISON , WHAT WILL YOU NAME IT?
Words alone cannot describe the full extent of the beauty of nature's foot print at Murchison falls. Here the Nile squeezes through the narrow gorge and froths like beer and thunders like a volcano. Little wonder that sir Samuel baker , the missionary named the falls after a president of the national geographic society. I really wonder what you would say about it once you are there ,what will you name it !come and experience this beauty.
Currently the falls shares this name with the national park which covers 3,800sqkm making it arguably the largest wildlife enclave in Uganda .While at this park, you cannot fail to see scores of crocodiles lying lazily on the banks off river nile,a bloat of hippos like mounds floating on the Nile. While on a Uganda safari specifically to this park, I doubt whether you can fail to get a flock of birds perching on the trees surrounding you these can be shoebills, kingfishers, bee eaters, fish eagles just to mention but a few.
A Savannah jungle is a sight you are not bound to miss, a home to lions, leopards, eleohants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, oribis, chimpanzees and the Uganda kobs. The experience of seeing hippos yawning revealing their set of teeth is a blissful moment. You need to reach there and have a memorable experience of launch cruising on this longest river Nile in Africa. the magnificent beauty of the flora around this park is amazing ,the so sausage tree ,after looking at it would definitely remind you of the very good moments you once had eating the sausages with your good friends and family members. The African palm tree is another thing that no one on this earth wants to miss knowing about the way they came into Uganda but particularly to this magnificent park.
These trees with their alcoholic fruits are largely found in this park that you can never miss having a chance of seeing at least one tree species of this magnificent tree. Some animals when take or eat the fruits of this tree get drunk and I wonder whether humans too can do get drunk when they eat this fruit .come for a Ugandan safari to get to know about this, would you really get drunk?
