Congo is occupied by thick forests that are habitants of many wildlife species of fauna and flora though her tourist attractions have not been fully exploited, the few places that have been gazette for tourism activities are a must go visit areas which neither you or I are supposed to miss. The popularly visited areas are the Natural forests of Congo which hold in stock a variety of game like the Okapis which are a very rare animals in East Africa. These Okapis are a native to the Ituri rain forest, located in the North East of the democratic republic of congo.Just to mention to you a little of what to expect, although these okapis bear striped markings reminiscent of the zebra, they are closely related to the giraffes. The total population of these Okapis is estimated to be between 10,000 and 20,000.Apart from the okapis in the okapi wild life reserve, there are also other endangered species of animals like the thirteen primates of anthropoid primates; forest elephant .The Garamba national park is also having the white rhinos for you. Also lakes of kivu,Albert,Mweru,Tanganyika ,the water falls of inga,lofoi,lining stone,boyama are good attraction for you as well.
