Gangotri Dham – The temple is the throne of Goddess Ganga and is located at a height of 3,200 meters. The temple of Gangotri opens at the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya and remains open until the festival of Diwali. To wash your sins one must visit Gangotri and seek blessings of Goddess Ganga.
